Our Budding Photographer

Brody is obsessed with taking pictures. Anytime we take out the camera, he has to have "Brody's turn". It all started when his cousin Adam got a camera for Christmas. He let Brody borrow it for a little while and, ever since, he has wanted to take pictures of everything. Sometimes he is actually quite good and his style looks very artistic. He is more of a still life photographer with his subject matter being inanimate objects. Here he is, taking you into a day in the life of Brody.

"Boat Jackets"

When my parents were visiting us back in December, we took a trip to Balboa Island in Newport Beach. We took the ferry over and walked around some of the island. It was a cool day and John was wearing his black jacket. Ever since then, Brody calls John's jacket his "boat jacket". Brody got a black jacket from Grandma Pitta for Christmas and was so excited to get his very own boat jacket. It took me awhile to actually get a picture of the two of them posing with their jackets. I love this picture! It makes me smile :) It is funny to think about what kids remember and take away from an experience.
