Other Memorable Moments in February

In big news, Brody lost another tooth!  So now, both bottom front baby teeth are gone, but his permanent teeth are growing fast and are almost all the way in.  No signs of any other loose ones at this point.  He can only hope, though!  As you can see from this picture, he was one excited kid.  This experience was a lot better than the first.  It pretty much pulled right out at the first tug and surprised us all.  Very little blood and no crying, just all smiles and a new dollar bill from the Tooth Fairy's visit.
Grandpa Brown came down to visit and go to church with us one Sunday while Grandma was in Minnesota for Lili's baptism.  The kids always love when he is here, and especially love his Ipad he brings.
This was a great day for Grandpa to visit as Piper was giving her first prayer in Primary.  Grandpa enjoyed sitting next to Brody and being sung the welcome song by all the kids.  Piper gave the closing prayer and did a wonderful job.  The only problem was the microphone was nowhere to be found that day, so only I could hear her soft spoken voice repeat the words I whispered to her.  She said every word, though, so she did great.

Speaking of Piper in Primary, she always does great in there.  Sometimes she has a shy day and only wants to sit on my lap, but for most part she sits there reverently in her seat with her Sunbeam class.  She got picked to be the spotlight and was asked some questions that she got to pick.  Her answers were predictable but it was very cute to hear her answers.  So, here were the two she answered.

What is your favorite movie?  Tangled
What is something you do to choose the right?  Share my toys

After the questions, she got to pick a CTR band or ring and sign her name on a big CTR board.  Of course, she picked a pink band.  It was a proud mommy moment.  I love being in Primary with my kids and seeing them happy and learning and growing.
