Saying Goodbye

Last month, we had a going away pool party for my friend Karin, who was moving. We all met at my pool, like we have been most of the summer. The kids had a blast in the pool while us moms enjoyed oh so delicious Cafe Rio and lots of great conversation. This day marked pretty much the end of all of us "originals" being together again. We were the first group of young moms in the ward and have seen our kids be born and grow through to school ages. Quite a few of us are moving this summer and it has been pretty sad to see all the changes and everyone leaving. They have been the best support to me and my family and I am so lucky to have such great friends around me.

Time for a break! Noah, Braden, Brinley, Adam, Austin, and Sawyer.

Gavin, Brody's "best friend", and Brody. Brody was in a bad mood right then, which is why he was pouting and not wanting to look at me.
If I remember correctly, his yogurt got pool water in it from a water gun, which made him mad. I am sure being tired had nothing to do with it either (eye rolling).Piper climbed into my friend Lisa's stroller to relax and thought that was so funny.

Piper and her little friends Tyler and Issac never tend to wander very far. These kids are all around the same age, which would have made it fun to grow up together.
It was a great day with friends and are already missing our great friend Karin! Come back to see us soon!
