This is the first summer we have been to the Mission Viejo Lake since we have lived here and it has been so much fun. You can only get in if you are a resident of Mission Viejo or go with someone that is. So, we have been tagging along with some of our friends that are residents and going almost every week. The kids love it because it is one of the only places that you can bring any and all floaties. It feels a lot like the beach, but with no waves. The kids bring their boogie boards and love to float around on them. We have my brother's old one that my mom gave us. I didn't think we would end up using it for a while until we started going to the lake. Here are a few pictures of one of the first times we went.

Piper would never venture out farther than this in the beginning, which is good, I guess. She wanted me out their most of the time to play with her. While I always did so, I also wanted some Mommy time to chat with my friends. Now she loves to hanging out on a floaty and to swim around with the big kids.
She is just too cute to say no to sometimes.
