Look who's a new Sunbeam!

I still can't believe Piper is a Sunbeam!  Her first Sunday with the "big" kids in Primary went really well.  She was very excited to move up with her friends Audrey, Emma, Thomas, Ian, and Aiden.  She was especially excited since her "new" teachers were her old nursery leaders, Suzanne Ramsey and Dana Clark.  Piper adores Sister Ramsey and always had a hard time in Nursery if she wasn't there.  This is why the first Sunday of the new year was such an easy transition for Piper.  It also helped that I was Brody's new CTR 5 teacher and was just a few rows back.

It has been really fun to observe her in Primary.  She is always very reverent and sits quietly in her seat.  She has been picked a few times to help with singing time and sharing time because she is so reverent (her whole class is really good though too).  This Primary picks a spotlight child at the end of the day out of the kids that have been the most reverent.  She was picked the Sunday of my birthday.  They have the kids come up and pick some questions to answer and then they get to a pick a CTR ring or band as their prize.  Piper picked a pink band, of course, and choose these questions to answer.

What are you doing to choose the right?  Play with my toys and share
What is your favorite movie/TV show?  Tangled

She also gave her first prayer last Sunday and she did great job.  Grandpa Brown and Daddy were there to hear it, but yet couldn't hear it.  The Primary couldn't find its microphone, so everyone had to talk without it.  Since Piper is very soft spoken, she couldn't make her whispers carry out to the whole group.  I heard every word, though, and she repeated everything I said.  Way to go Piper!
